Examples of Two Common DUI Defenses Strategies

Motion To Suppress Evidence

One of the most successful defenses that we use to fight a DUI case a "motion to suppress the evidence". This can be highly successful if the officer never had the grounds to stop you. Your case can be dismissed and never go to court if the judge believes this is the case. Paul J. Adras has been very successful in filing the proper motions.

Rising Blood Level Defense

With this defense, often we'll have an expert witness testify in your behalf and depending upon your pattern of consumption, you may be able to prove that while you were behind the wheel your alcohol level was indeed below the .08%  level. The blood alcohol level before and after you were driving is completely irrelevant. So even if your alcohol level was over the .08% threshold at the time of the test, it may have been lower while you were driving.
